Original Draft

Developed this initial draft alongside designing the typeface. Will use this as a basis to develop the book properly into a fully fledged printable copy.

Layout ideas

Want to try and make the book layout in a square format (210mm x 210mm). drew some layout ideas, mostly inspired from the previous guide

Development

Square booklet draft

As I developed this, realised that it doesn't work as well square. Want to revert back to landscape a4 format. Maybe test using some analogue methods as well.

Testing analogue

Lasercutting & Spraypaint

These ended up being really messy - didn't feel they were usable as page spreads.

Ultimately, decided that creating an analogue book wasn't gonna do the typeface justice, nor would I be able to make the book to a standard where it will look good. Decided to stick to developing a professionally printed book instead.
